GEARWRENCH offers a broad line of polyurethane dead blow hammers in ball pein, standard one piece, slim line one piece, and sledge head one piece types. The steel shot filled canister creates a dead blow effect which sustains impact, maximizes force, reduces rebound, and absorbs the shock of impact. The handles are steel reinforced for strength and also textured with a flanged butt-end for a non-slip grip. The ball pein type has a steel face and pein which allows for conventional use in striking punches and chisels, as well as, shaping and straightening unhardened metals. The standard, slim line, and sledge head one piece types are covered in the durable, hot cast urethane which resists chipping and splitting, and is non-marring and non-sparking. The hot cast urethane coating also reduces noise when striking metal.
